DIY // Wall Art

These were inspired by some art I saw at the store 'TYPO' I thought I would make my own version, because it would cost me next to nothing! I just wripped the pages out of an old book, and used acrylic paint i happened to find at a thrift store! 

I made the stamps by tracing images off my computer, cutting them out and then making very ghetto stamps with them, this definitely could be done much easier with craft foam which I couldn't find anywhere over here, or you could use/make stencils.

 I think they turned out pretty cute, some cheapycheapy art to decorate a blank wall!

Polaroid Party!

Last week Kalos was asked to be apart of a Polaroid Party that was held at the Canvas Lounge in Vancouver! We were so excited to recieve our Polaroid Camera, and shoot shoot away! 

Bethany helped out with the Photos, but then quickly flew away and spent time in the sun with her family (check out her HAWAII instagrams! sooo Jealous!) 

Tegan and I had SUCH a great time. Thank you Team Awesome and everyone else involved!

Basically, the party was a fundraiser for children's education in India and Ethiopia! It was a HUGE success thanks to TEAM AWESOME- They raised more than expected, and the lounge was incredibly Packed out!!

Instaweek // It's that time of year

 

1. My brother & sister in-law arrived from Australia this week, lots of family fun!

2. Handsome husband with his father and brother, ready to head downtown for a fancy dinner and Handels' Messiah.

3. I was scared my in-laws would think I was strange in my vintage faux-fur. but they loved it, and it kept me ever so warm.

4. I LOVED the bathroom at the Wedgewood Hotel. So antique and pretty.

5. We had some amazing frosty days this week. Went for a run and spent half my time taking pictures of frosty things.

6. I love this store. I spent forever looking at their stamps and pretty crafty things early this week, found some very cool stamps!

7. I gave myself tattoos. (I gave my dad one too).
